Welcome to NBHA OK 08

This will have to be an outstanding year for our district; after all—08 in 08.  What could be a better sign than that?  As I’m sure you have heard by now, Rachel has resigned as district director, and will be replaced by Janet Wheeler, with much help from John I’m sure.  I know with all the help they gave up these past two years that the district will continue to grow and get better with them.   Rachel has taken over the reins of my paint Cash and will be spending more time riding and hauling now that she doesn’t have the responsibility of the district.
On a more personal level, I’m saying goodbye also, due to a nagging knee injury, I’m turning in my shin guards, and sticking to trail riding.  I’ve enjoyed the company and the competition and will miss you all.  I’ve had a lot of fun trying to keep you all up to date on the districts’ comings and goings.   Thanks to you all and to Michael (mybarrelracing.com) for putting up with my mistakes and all the corrections.  I hope this next year is a great one and you all have--
